Personal I'm a native Californian having been born and raised in the Los Angeles area. My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations centered around school and church. I graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in Tujunga, California. I graduated from Glendale College and Saint Mary's College with degrees in Business Management. My advanced studies were at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. I worked for Pacific Telephone and its successors Pacific Bell and SBC in both line and Corporate Management. I was Pacific Bells representative to the California Public Utilities Commission regarding external service measurements. In corporate Real Estate, we maintained Pacific Bells/SBC's Real Estate portfolio of 1756 buildings throughout the State of California. I was Vice President of Operations for Prime Services Group. They provided Telecommunication Equipment and Services to Regional Telecommunications Companies. (Pacific Bell, Nevada Bell, SBC, Ameritech, etc.) I was elected to the Board of Directors and elected to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Military experience included four years in the United States Air Force. Was elected to Quartermaster for Post 10789, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Brentwood, California. My Current hobbies include model railroading, traveling and boating. Having lived in Discovery Bay and Contra Costa County for over 25 years, I have seen the area grow and prosper. I am dedicated to using both my personal and business experience to serve my clients, so they too, can grow and prosper. Certifications and Recognitions FMA- Facility Maintenance Administrator-Commercial Designation by the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) Requires in-depth knowledge of all Buildings Facilities, Power Requirements, Leases and Contracts. Requires Yearly Classes to maintain the Designation. GRI- Graduate REALTOR Institute. GRI symbol is recognized nationwide, and is authorized by the National Association of Realtors. The program is the foundation for National & California Associations of REALTORS real estate advancement program, and is a pre-requisite for other national designations. GRI consists of 14 courses which include: Agency relationships Duties and Disclosures, Ethics, Professional Conducts and Legal Aspects, Trust Fund Management, Fair Housing, Legal Issues, Disclosures, Strategies for Success, Technology Applications in Real Estate, Listing, Pricing and Marketing Properties, Residential Real Estate Financing, Marketing, Financing and Managing Investment Properties, Investment Property Analysis, Environmental Concerns, Construction Overview and Land, Real Property, Tax and Exchanging and Essential Concepts of the Calif. Association Realtors Residential Purchase Agreement. SRES- Seniors Real Estate Specialist. Seniors Real Estate Specialists help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property, managing the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate, obtaining reverse mortgage, moving to a senior community, and other issues. CHMS - Certified Home Marketing Specialist. The Certified Home Marketing Specialist provides the knowledge and techniques to strategically price and prepare properties for faster, higher sales- the goals of every seller. CNS – Certified Negotiation Specialist. The Certified Negotiation Specialist helps both buyers and sellers by having an agent armed with cutting edge negotiating tools and techniques giving them the competitive advantage and best deal possible. CEMS – Certified E-Marketing Specialist. The Certified E-Marketing Specialist harnesses the power of communication utilizing the technology and tools available in today’s’ fast pace business world.
